Nucor announces to raise prices of steel flat products

It's reported that Nucor announced to raise the prices of steel flat products including cold rolled steel and galvanized steel by US$55/ton, effective immediately.

Earlier, Ohio-based AK Steel announced to hike its prices for steel flat products by US$55/ton as well.

It's expected that the other steel mills in the US will follow the two companies' steps to increase the prices.
